Report from Mary: Good news! Mom slept great last night. She is herself;not crabby.
She was asking about everyone. The nurses heard about her new great-granddaughter and Mary expecting grandchild #34 (?).
Mom might be moved from ICU today. She has an MRI scheduled at 11am (EST). They were able to resume the blood thinner, after confirming there was no bleeding in her brain. She has accepted that she had a stroke and is aware that her vision on the left is impaired. When spoken to she glances to the right, regardless which of her sides they are on.
Today she was drinking coffee with her glasses on when Mary arrived. Tina, Mary and a sign have been successful getting the staff to call her Mac. The girls are relieved that Mac is at the point that she can communicate for herself to the staff.

The photos for Mac to enjoy are printed, paid for, and ready to be picked up from the Walgreens near the hospital.
Thank you andy for creating this blog. I get on it about every 2 hours to see an update. I am praying for Mac and Ernie and if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know. Love you all.
